Do your children make toys out of household items? Mine do. I’m not sure why we even buy “real toys”. My kids are always making toys out of things around the house. In fact, for Christmas, my daughter made me a home made “mailbox”. It was made out of a pringles can and an empty juice box. Cute, right? Really cute unless you have to stare at trash for 2 weeks straight.
Do your kids use your household items for toys??
All the time! Our favorite has always been the strainer hat! 😀
Oh yes! I have some cute pictures like that!
You have really creative kids!
They are creative! Thanks!
Ooh, the egg carton is a great one – will have to do that with Samuel! My kids do that too. Toilet paper and paper towel rolls always turn into swords and tunnels (for Hot Whell cars). 🙂
Good idea about the Hot Wheel tunnel! We will try that!
Yup. I often feel like asking the grandparents to not bother with the toy–just give us the box it came in…
Ha Ha! That so true!
so true, same here! 🙂
At least we have creative kids , right?
