Feeling the Rush

You know that feeling that you get when your adrenaline is pumping?  It’s hard to describe, but it basically feels like your heart is going to pound out of your body.  Some people ride fast roller coasters, sky dive, or bungee jump.  What do I do?  I like to freak out when my kids try something  new or mildly dangerous.

  1. I let my son walk to the bus stop on really cold days! (It’s two blocks from our house). Watching him stop and go and dawdle around about kills me-KID JUST GO! It’s COLD!!!

Confrontations. Not all confrontations–it depends on the matter. I don’t like that feeling of my heart in my throat and ears. As for roller coasters, I actually get emotional and start to tear up,lol. Yea, I’m a wuss for that AND heights lol.

All I have to do is leave my son alone for 5 minutes. He’ll definitely be up to something that gets my blood pumping and legs running, like climb up the dining table and then attempting to jump down O_O
