It’s “Baby Weight”

How long after you have a baby can you claim your excess weight is “baby weight”?  Having 4 kids has left me with about 25 pounds hanging around.  I know – less calories and more exercise.  That’s the key!  Now, just to follow my own advice….

    Haha, Ouch! My son said I looked pregnant about 3 or 4 months after I had his brother and he was right! I’m still 8 or 9 lbs up from my pre-pregnancy weight. I am exercising again, happily, and I am eating right, but I think breastfeeding keeps me from going down any farther. I’d have to restrict my calories which I can’t do. :/ Oh well! I don’t look prego anymore because my butt and thighs have taken over the job of fat storage and have released my tummy from those duties. 😉

  2. Hmm takes me back after I had my 1st (almost 30 years ago) 😦
    My father walked into the room in the Hospital and seriously said haven’t you had the baby yet?
    Exercise…don’t eat…exercise…tummy tuck…exercise..the battle goes on..and on..and on

  3. ha!ha! oh! I know what you mean! some days I look 3 months pregnant (gave birth 18 months ago) 🙂 I know I need to exercise but not there yet 🙂
